National debt resolution scam ... if that exists, which you may want to check here,
http://www.pueblo.gsa.gov/scamsdesc.htm, then it's probably about debt relief programs that promises you things that they do not fulfill. Beware of words like "Fast and easy", "quick", etc. when it comes to debt reduction and elimination - because, the truth is, getting out of debt is never easy. It takes time.

Debt resolution as a concept? is not a scam. It has worked for many, and not for some. But if you put "National" with debt resolution - it sounds as if the words "debt resolution" is desperate to sound affiliated or connected with the government. Oh and I agree with the previous post and I think a good follow up question - is how to spot a debt relief related scam (?)

Re: national debt resolution scam - Hi, I just want to say that when it comes to debt resolution, it's safer if you're the one contacting your debt relief company, and not the other way around. If you receive emails, calls, and snail mails about such - be wary. If you really need debt help, put together a list of prospective companies, call each one, and then based from your notes - choose the one.

Debt resolution scams (the national kind) would use official sounding names like "federal", "national", "Obama", etc. Also, they would ask for upfront fees, personal information, make bogus promises, first---before assessing your financial situation.
